Terms of Service for Alt+P Autofill
Last Updated: February 28, 2026
Welcome to Alt+P Autofill (“the Extension”). These Terms of Service (“Terms”) constitute a legal agreement between you (“the User”) and Alt+P Autofill (the Developer). By installing, accessing, or using the Extension, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
1. License Grant (Licensed, Not Sold)
Alt+P Autofill is licensed, not sold. Subject to your compliance with these Terms, you are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, and revocable license to use the Extension for personal or professional purposes.
- Ownership: All intellectual property rights, including source code, design, and branding, remain the exclusive property of the Developer.
- Restrictions: You may not copy, modify, create derivative works of, reverse engineer, or attempt to extract the source code of the Extension.
- Commercial Use: You may not resell, sublicense, or redistribute the Extension or its license keys without express written permission.
2. Nature of the Service
Alt+P Autofill is a browser-based productivity tool that automates data entry via scripting.
- Data Storage: The Extension utilizes
chrome.storage.sync. You acknowledge that while the Developer does not host your data, your profile information is synced across your devices via Google’s synchronization infrastructure.
- Operational Disclaimer: Functionality depends on the structure of third-party websites. Because website code changes frequently, the Developer does not guarantee that the Extension will work on every site or remain compatible with future browser updates.
3. User Privacy & Data Responsibility
- No Developer Access: The Extension is designed to operate without transmitting your personal profile data to the Developer. We do not see, collect, or store your form-fill data.
- Local Management: You are solely responsible for the data you enter. Using the “Clear” function permanently deletes data from your sync storage. The Developer is not liable for data loss due to browser corruption, uninstallation, or device theft.
- NDPA Compliance: This Extension adheres to the Nigeria Data Protection Act (NDPA) by implementing data minimization; no personal data is processed by the Developer beyond what is necessary for license verification.
4. Third-Party Interactions & Account Safety
- No Affiliation: Alt+P Autofill is not affiliated with, authorized, or endorsed by any website it interacts with (e.g., LinkedIn, instagram, etc.).
- User Risk: You are responsible for ensuring your use of autofill tools complies with the Terms of Service of third-party websites. The Developer is not responsible for any account bans, restrictions, or “bot detection” penalties resulting from the use of this Extension.
5. Payments and Licensing
- Merchant of Record: Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle. Paddle is the Merchant of Record for all transactions. This means that when you purchase a license for Alt+P Autofill, you are purchasing from Paddle, and your payment is processed by Paddle.
By completing a purchase, you agree to Paddle’s Consumer Terms and Conditions.
- License Verification: The Extension may perform periodic verification checks with Paddle’s systems to confirm license validity.
- Refunds: All refund requests are handled by Paddle in accordance with Paddle’s Refund Policy and Consumer Terms. Refunds are provided at Paddle’s sole discretion.
To request a refund, you must contact Paddle directly through their official support channels.
6. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Developer shall not be liable for:
- Incorrect data entry or form submission errors.
- Loss of data or business interruption.
- Any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.
- Financial Cap: In no event shall the Developer’s total liability exceed the amount actually paid by you for the license during the 12 months preceding the claim.
7. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless the Developer from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, or expenses (including legal fees) arising out of your use of the Extension, your violation of these Terms, or your infringement of any third-party rights.
8. Termination
We reserve the right to revoke your license and terminate access to the Extension immediately and without notice if:
- You violate any part of these Terms.
- You attempt to bypass or “crack” licensing mechanisms.
- Fraudulent payment activity is detected.
9. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms govern your license and use of the Extension. They are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
Any disputes relating to your use of the Extension (excluding payment disputes handled by Paddle as Merchant of Record) shall be resolved exclusively in the courts located within Nigeria.
10. Changes to Terms
The Developer may update these Terms at any time. Your continued use of the Extension following the posting of changes constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms.
